-
Do CTB have a return policy? Refunds?
While we want a permanent home for our kittens we are aware that it doesn't always work out, we will always take the kittens back if it's not a good fit, but within a reasonable time frame of adoption, however, we do not give refunds so we ask that you are certain you do want a kitten before you adopt.
Surrender FAQs
-
Does CTB take in adult cats? Friendly or feral?
We do not take in adult cats, for anything over 13 weeks you need to contact the Kenai Animal Shelter or another rescue, but first, we suggest you try to rehome them yourself.
-
What if we don't want our kitty spayed or neutered?
You'll have to find kittens elsewhere, all our kittens will be fixed before they can go to their new homes.
-
What if we don't want it microchipped?
All our kittens will be microchipped before going to their new homes. This is not a tracking device!
-
What if I found a cat, what can I do?
Care for it immediately (provide a warm place and water at a minimum). Then contact the animal shelter and post it on Facebook pets page.
-
What if the shelter turns me away?
Are you a city resident? Contact the city council and let them know.
-
I found an injured animal, what can I do?
Same as above, provide warm shelter, food and water and contact a vet or the shelter. Kenai or Soldotna, there is an animal control officer in Soldotna that can respond.
-
What if I have feral cats in my yard?
Provide food and water and warm shelter and contact Clear Creek Cat Rescue and work with them to get the colony fixed.
-
Where can I get a live trap?
If you live in Kenai, go to the Kenai animal shelter, for Soldotna, contact Soldotna animal shelter.. there is still an officer who can assist with animal issues in the city limits and outside of the cities you can get a trap from fish and game on k-beach or Cad-Re feed also has a program to rent traps. You need to have a plan for what you will do with the cat if you catch it, don't plan on dumping it at a rescue or other location where it won't be cared for.
