The steps to adopt a kitten from CTB are…

Step 1: Look at our available kittens.

  • Some are ready to go home now some are available for preadoption and will be available to go home once they grow a little more

  • We are located in Kenai/Soldotna area so you need to be willing to travel to the Kenai peninsula in order to adopt a kitten.

Step 2: Fill out the kitten inquiry form below.

  • This form lets us know you are interested in adopting!

  • You will be asked to tell us the names of up to three kittens you want to meet.

Step 3: Schedule a time to meet the kitten with the kitten’s foster.

  • The foster will reach out to you to coordinate this.

  • We are all volunteers, so we will get back to you as soon as we can. It may take a few days and we thank you in advance for your patience!

Step 4: Once you have met the right kitten, pay the adoption fees and complete the adoption contract.

  • Adoption fees are $145 (cash or check)/$150 (credit/debit card).

  • Once you have met the right kitten, pay the adoption fees and complete the adoption contract.

Step 5: Take your kitten home!

  • If the kitten has already been spayed/neutered, the kitten can go home with you. If not, your kitten will stay with their foster until s/he has had the spay/neuter surgery.

  • You will need to bring a cat carrier to pick up your kitten from its foster home. It can help reduce the stress of traveling on your new kitten to bring a blanket or pillowcase to cover the carrier with.
