The steps to adopt a kitten from CTB are…
Step 1: Look at our available kittens.
Some are ready to go home now some are available for preadoption and will be available to go home once they grow a little more
We are located in Kenai/Soldotna area so you need to be willing to travel to the Kenai peninsula in order to adopt a kitten.
Step 2: Fill out the kitten inquiry form below.
This form lets us know you are interested in adopting!
You will be asked to tell us the names of up to three kittens you want to meet.
Step 3: Schedule a time to meet the kitten with the kitten’s foster.
The foster will reach out to you to coordinate this.
We are all volunteers, so we will get back to you as soon as we can. It may take a few days and we thank you in advance for your patience!
Step 4: Once you have met the right kitten, pay the adoption fees and complete the adoption contract.
Adoption fees are $145 (cash or check)/$150 (credit/debit card).
Once you have met the right kitten, pay the adoption fees and complete the adoption contract.
Step 5: Take your kitten home!
If the kitten has already been spayed/neutered, the kitten can go home with you. If not, your kitten will stay with their foster until s/he has had the spay/neuter surgery.
You will need to bring a cat carrier to pick up your kitten from its foster home. It can help reduce the stress of traveling on your new kitten to bring a blanket or pillowcase to cover the carrier with.
